Bio

Sheila Williamson is a Clinical Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D).  She is excited to continue her over 35-year journey of supporting and empowering persons with disabilities and their families.  Dr. Williamson began working with persons with disabilities as a fieldwork placement at Rutgers University.  Following college, she moved to Mississippi to pursue her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology.  She has worked in a wide range of settings (e.g., clinic-based, hospital setting, residential setting, school-based, early intervention, and in-home) with persons and families with an array of needs from ages birth to 75.  Dr. Williamson is passionate about early identification and intervention that supports building meaningful social communication and meaningful relationships regardless of disability or age.   She is excited to continue to support, and empower those served at TKMC.  She will provide psychological evaluations for an array of concerns (e.g., developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, learning difficulties, complex behavioral/emotional issues).  She will provide additional staff development and training to Project IMPACT.
