Bio

Eric Knox attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center where he received his Master’s of Occupational Therapy in May of 2012. In September of the same year, he began working at the T.K. Martin Center. In 2015, Eric became certified as a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist. His primary focus at T.K. Martin is in driver rehabilitation and he is the only CDRS in the state that works with low vision drivers who qualify for bioptic driving. He assists other clinicians at TKMC with clients who may have difficulty accessing speech or computer devices. Eric also assists in wheelchair evaluations with seating and positioning and performs pediatric evaluations for students in Project IMPACT. Eric has presented at the National Occupational Therapy Association conference and made the cover of their magazine in 2016, highlighting his journey through OT school as a wheelchair user. He’s also an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and kayak fisherman.
